Spay & Neuter Collaborative of Kansas City (SNCKC) is working to overcome pet overpopulation by providing free spay and neuter services to pet owners who know that getting their pet fixed is the right thing to do.
PROGRAMS
We offer a Priority Pet Helpline for pets and owners that are in difficult situations and can’t wait until our next event.
Why should I spay or neuter my pet?
The pet overpopulation crisis is evident in so many animal shelters being at or over capacity, and the demand for animal surrender and stray assistance at overwhelming levels.
Contributors range from over-breeding, a shortage of veterinarians, evictions, hard economic times, the high cost of pet care and misconceptions about spaying/neutering.
SNCKC is in a position to combat several of these challenges and reduce the number of animals that end up in shelters.
