SNCKC is a group of animal welfare organizations focused on humanely reducing overpopulation of domestic pets. We offer Kansas City-wide spay/neuter events that are free to the public. These events include spay/neuter surgery, rabies and other vaccines, and microchips.

Feedback from pet owners who access our services is that without SNCKC, they would not have had their pet fixed, because other life priorities such as rent, food, gas money, or even college tuition take precedence for them. They know it is the right thing to do, but paying for other important obligations comes first.

This results in unwanted litters, owners surrendering their pets to already crowded shelters, and abandoned animals.

Providing these free services gets to the root cause of so many unwanted dogs and cats. The pets, pet owners, animals shelters and entire communities benefit.

Since its inception in late 2023, SNCKC has altered more than 2,200 pets in the Kansas City area—all free of charge to pet owners.
